At Trailhead Community, we believe meaningful progress comes from strong partnerships—and few have shown up for us more consistently than Point Consulting.
Since 2017, Point Consulting has not only donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in in-kind services, but they’ve also championed our events, advocated for our mission, and, most importantly, built deep relationships with the people who call Trailhead home.
We sat down with their team for a quick Q&A to reflect on the journey—and celebrate just how much they’ve helped shape who we are.
In the fall of 2017, Jim and Denise from Point Consulting attended our Gala after being invited by friends whose son has special needs. What started as a casual evening quickly became a turning point. Jim was so moved by our vision that he texted his partners, Cameron and Tiffany Watson, mid-event to ask what they could do to help. Their answer? “Whatever you want or need.”
The next day, Point Consulting met with our team—and from that moment forward, they were all in.
For Point Consulting, it’s all about relationships.
They’ve met families, residents, and fellow supporters whose stories made a lasting impression. And because Point is based in Littleton—where they live, work, and raise their children—supporting Trailhead Community became a natural extension of who they are as a company.
“We live in this community. Trailhead gave us the opportunity to build something truly special right here at home,” they shared. “Our time and development knowledge are the resources we can give—and over time, it’s added up. But we know we’re just one piece of a larger, tenacious group that’s made this dream real.”
When asked what they’ve learned from this project, the team reflected on something both simple and profound:
“Everyone wants and needs the same things—a place of our own, a community to belong to. We all have the capacity to make that happen.”
They also mentioned a lighter, equally important takeaway: don’t take yourself too seriously.
Point Consulting knows firsthand that building inclusive, sustainable housing for adults with IDD and active seniors is no easy task. The biggest hurdle? Making it financially feasible.
“Trailhead has created a concept to build from, but not yet a model to build by,” they noted. “The need is urgent—but it will take passionate and persistent people to push the industry forward.”
At its core, Point Consulting is about people. Their mission is to positively impact both employees and clients through integrity, respect, and continuous improvement. They pride themselves on strong communication, exceptional service, and genuine adaptability.
As they put it: “Point is a great place to work—and we work even harder for our clients.”
When asked for a favorite Trailhead moment, their answer was immediate: Grant Abbott.
Grant has worked closely with their team—from helping build a recreational trail, to painting art tiles, to playing a round of golf. They’ve watched him thrive, toured his condo, and built a true friendship.
“Any day we get to see Grant is a good one,” they said with a smile. This is a testament to how Point has truly become members of this community. We are so grateful to have partnered with folks that care about our residents as much as we do and actively seek to improve their lives.
Thank you, Point Consulting, for your unwavering commitment, your extraordinary generosity, and the joy and hope you bring to this community. Trailhead is stronger—and better—because of you.
