When/where/how did you learn our project?
In 2018 we attended the Gala Event at the invitation of the Schiff Family. We had some exposure and knowledge of Stepping Stone but not the vision for the Trailhead Community. During the event we had some discussion, extensive thought and about 30 seconds of time passing, Point saw an opportunity to help! The following day we met with Ed Galisewski and got the full vision and inspiration. We could not be more excited to part of the project and future of the community.
What is your reason for joining our team?
We were inspired by the mission and project concept and the real need for this type of facility. We hope to see many of these types of facilities in the future.
What about our mission spoke to your heart?
I think the dominant idea that spoke to us was Community. It touches and crosses so many paths with our personal lives, living and working in Littleton; connections to Chatfield High School, Colorado State University and special needs within our area.
What is your connection to the world of developmental disabilities, if any?
Denise has always been involved in the special needs community in some aspect or another. She was a teacher for many years and has provided respite care to families for their children/adults with disabilities. Her involvement has inspired all of our awareness at Point Consulting.
